Remember when the internet was fun?
Yeah, me too. It used to be that you came across quirky and fun websites showcasing everything and anything. The tackier the website, the better.
It's something I really miss. One of my favourite games (GTA 5) has a nice selection of really silly entertaining websites that are fun to explore, including Psychic Shout-out. This game inspired my current website style.
Which reminds me of Mystic Meg. Any of you remember her? I used to read her column at times back when physical media was more common, and actually I used to read a bunch of advice columns just for fun in lots of teen magazines too.
I also used to really love Phoebe's job in charmed when she was working as an advice columnist using her psychic abilities to help guide the general public. I thought it would be a really cool job. I still think so, honestly.
But then I thought ......hey, why not create my own section on the internet reminiscent of this?
